Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 8, 2026.
The short version: some links on the-operator.net are
affiliate links. If you buy through them, I may earn a commission — at
no extra cost to you. It keeps the site running and the income reports
honest.
How it works here
- Affiliate links are disclosed where they appear. Wherever a link may earn a commission, the page says so — no silent affiliate links.
- All partner links open in a new tab and carry
rel="sponsored noopener", the web-standard way of marking paid links. - Recommendations come first. A tool earns a place here because I'd use it, not because it pays. If that ever stops being true, the tool leaves the page — partnership or not.
What it costs you
Nothing extra. Affiliate commissions are paid by the company out of their own margin; the price you see is the price you'd pay going direct. When you buy through a link here, you're effectively voting that this site's transparency is worth rewarding — thank you.
Questions
Does it cost me extra to buy through an affiliate link?
No. The commission comes from the company's margin; your price is identical to going direct.
How do I know which links are affiliate links?
They're disclosed where they appear. Every outbound partner link
also opens in a new tab with rel="sponsored".
